Between Davido, Kizz Daniel, Olamide, Tiwa Savage and Wizkid Who is the 2018 Artiste of the Year?

It has been a wonderful year for music lovers, producers, and musicians all over the country. There are numerous hit tracks released this year, a lot of A-list artistes gave their fans nonstop hits all year round.

Several A-list musicians in Nigeria did way more than we expected but in this list, I will be mentioning only six in no particular order. Truth is even among the best there is always the ‘Bestest’.

First on my list is none other than ‘Omo Balogun’, Wizzy. Wizkid has been one of the most consistent artistes since dropping his first single in 2011.

Star boy had a wonderful year with bangers every other quarter. We started the year listening to the leftover of his 2017’s Manya, soon after that he dropped Soco, Soco is been rated by many as the song of the year before we could get tired of Soco, Wizzy was feature in another song rated to be the best collaboration of the year, Duncan Mighty’s Fake Love. Shortly after that, he was featured in Olamide’s Kana, another banger. Wizkid hook in Skepta’s Bad Energy is one of the best hooks out of Naija.

In the second half of the year, Wizzy dropped 3 chart-topping singles Fever, Master Groove and the most anticipated song of 2018 Gucci Snake. Wizkid’s Fever visual broke the record of the most views on YouTube in the first 24 hours.
