Cristiano Ronaldo makes UEFA Team of the Year for the 13th Consecutive Time

Portuguese and Real Madrid Forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has been named in the 2018 UEFA Team of the Year as announced by the European football governing body.

Ronaldo led Real Madrid to their third consecutive UEFA Champions League success in 2018 ending the campaign as the highest goal scorer in the competition with 15 goals.

Real Madrid have the most player in the UEFA TOTY, the Spanish giants have 4 followed by Barcelona and Chelsea with 2 each, Liverpool, PSG and Juventus all have 1 each.

Ronaldo is the only player to ever be in the UEFA TOTY for 13 consecutive times. He first appeared in the UEFA TOTY in 2004 and ever since he has been on the prestigious list.
