Election 2019: Buhari hands over Campaign to Tinubu, says he doesn’t want Governance to Suffer
President Buhari has handed over his campaign to Tinubu, and the reason for this is because he didn’t want governance to suffer because of elections.
The Nigerian President who inaugurated his campaign council on Monday stated that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will now lead the party’s campaigns for the February general elections. Tinubu and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo are Co-Chairmen of the Council and by original plan, were to deputize the President, who ordinarily should lead the campaigns.
Buhari handed over his campaign to Tinubu and also inaugurated his council at the International Conference Centre Abuja, in an event which was attended by the National Chairman of the party, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, ministers and governors in attendance.
