Pray for Mavin Records – Don Jazzy

Pray for Mavin Records - Don Jazzy

Music mogul and the owner of Mavin Records has revealed that although the record label is currently not performing at its best level it is not dead.

The ace producers said this in a response by one of his followers on Twitter. The follower asked about what is happening within the record label that is making top artistes leave while leaving the upcoming ones.

He asked:

Mr Jazzy, is Mavin dead or Buhari’s change has hit your label? This one your top artistes are leaving, leaving behind the learner’s and the upcoming?

Don Jazzy then replied saying they have only fainted slightly and will definitely recover.

His response:

Naaa we never die. We just faint small. E Dey happen. Pray for us to recover if you can.

Recall that the top artiste in Mavin Records, Reekado Banks recently exited the label. The label is now left with the likes of Korede Bello, D’Prince and a few others. Mavin Records had a below average year in 2018 with no hit song from the label. The label didn’t win any award at this just-concluded Soundcity MVP award which is unlike them.
