#SoundcityMVP: Burna Boy reacts to His Big Win

"I am an AFRICAN GIANT" - Burna Boy calls out Coachella Organisers

Burna Boy has reacted to his latest feat at the 2018 Soundcity MVP awards. The singer swept four awards at the event including the highly coveted ‘African Artiste of the Year’.

The popular Nigerian singer surely had a great night as he was awarded the “Song of the Year” defeating the likes of Davido’s ‘Assurance’ and Wizkid’s ‘Soco’.

Davido and Wizkid got one award each, Best Pop and Best Collaboration respectively while Burna won Listeners Choice, Artist of the Year, Best Male MVP and Song of the year.

That is one great deal and shows the progress he has made in the past year.

The awards show has proven that Burna Boy is truly an ‘African Giant’ as he claimed in his recent post bashing organizers of the Coachella Concert for writing his name in small font in the festival’s e-poster.

Burna Boy on his Instagram page;

“Awards! Humbled and Honoured!! Thank you Soundcity for the constant support!

“All my fans for always having my back! Shouts to thenamix and Peedipicasso for showing up on my behalf.
