R. Kelly risks being evicted from his Chicago music studio, which is said to be the place he held girls in a sex cult.

The 52-year-old hit-making singer and producer who has been under fire after the docuseries ‘Surviving R.Kelly’ aired, is in jeopardy of losing his 8,000-square-foot music studio in an industrial property on the West Side of Chicago if he does not pay $80K in rent which he still reportedly owes.

Owners of the property, which is currently listed for sale at $3.9 million and featured on Lifetime’s docuseries Surviving R. Kelly as an alleged “sex dungeon” and living quarters for young girls in what they referred to as a sex cult, filed an eviction lawsuit against him in July for breaking his contract, which guaranteed a 10-year lease at a monthly rate of $22,927.41.

R. Kelly who missed two balloon payments and failed to pay his monthly rent reportedly owes Midwest Commercial Funding over $80,000 in arrears, Blast reports. The 8,000 sq ft building is being sold by James Hodur of Coldwell Banker, but Hodur and Coldwell do not represent Kelly. Hodur has only been hired by Midwest Funding to sell the building because of Kelly’s failure to pay rent.
