Tambuwal cancels campaign in Sokoto over Rabbah Killings
The Governor of Sokoto State Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has cancelled his campaign billed to hold in Gonroyo Local Government over Rabbah killings.
Tambuwal announced the cancellation in Gonroyo town in order to honour the soul of the people killed in Rabbah Local Government by suspected bandits earlier Monday.
Tribune Online reports that one of the party stalwarts had earlier disclosed to the Journalist at the venue of the rally about the unfortunate attacks where more than twenty people were killed.
Meanwhile, Governor Tambuwal has reassured the citizens of the state that his administration will do anything humanly possible to protect the residents as well as the citizens of the state.
Tambuwal has however alongside leaders of the party in the state with State executive council members visited the scenes of the incident in Rabbah to commiserate with the people of the community.
