Wolves send Liverpool out of the Emirates FA Cup

Wolverhampton Wanderers defeat Liverpool in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup at Molineux Stadium to move to the next round.

The game started slowly before Raul Jimenez opened the score chart in the 38th minutes for the home team. There were other chances by both teams but the first 45 minutes ended in favor of Wolves. Divock Origi leveled the score 5 minutes into the second half but Ruben Neves didn’t allow the visiting team to celebrate too much as he gave the home team the lead again in the 55th minute.

Klopp’s men did all they could but their best is not enough as they crashed out of the FA Cup while Wolves advanced to the next stage.

Liverpool are now out of the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup but they are still the EPL leaders and still very much in the UEFA Champions League.
