“Young and Restless” star Kristoff St John dies at age 52

Hollywood actor Kristoff St. John who starred in the hit TV series “Young and Restless” has died at age 52. This was confirmed by his attorney Mark Geragos in an email: “Sadly we can confirm.”

According to Officer Rosario Cervantes, of the LAPD, a person was pronounced dead in an incident yesterday in the San Fernando Valley area. She, however, failed to confirm the name of the deceased.

“We did respond yesterday at 2:05 p.m. on Morea Way for a possible alcohol overdose and that’s going to be a coroner’s case,” Cervantes said.

Kristoff St. John starred as Neil Winters in 1991 on the long-running CBS daytime soap opera. He got nominated nine times for Daytime Emmy Awards and won 10 NAACP Image Awards.

He also played roles in a number of sitcoms in the ’90s: “Martin,” “The Cosby Show,” “Living Single” and “The Jamie Foxx Show.”
