Friends, former Students, Classmates mourn Vice Principal killed in Ondo Bank Robbery a year to his Retirement

Biology teacher and the Vice Principal of Ido Ani Grammar School, Mr David Oluloro and six others lost their lives in Ido Ani in the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State on Monday when a gang of armed robbers attacked the First Bank branch in the town.

The robbers gained entry into the bank around 2 .30pm by blowing off the door with a substance suspected to be dynamite and asked the workers to open the Automated Teller Machines and stole an unspecified amount of money from the machines.

A combined team of policemen and soldiers stormed the scene after receiving information about the robbery and engaged the hoodlums in a gun duel. Some of the robbers escaped with gunshot injuries.

Meanwhile, friends, former students, classmates and members of the community are mourning the vice principal.

A former school mate, Sasere Ayokulehin described late Oluloro as a “gentleman and a great farmer”

His former student, Smart Agunbiade paid tribute on Facebook and disclosed that the Biology teacher was set to retire from service in one year.
