Kolade Johnson’s Murder: Court EXTENDS Inspector Olalekan remand

The police officer responsible for the death of Kolade Johnson, Inspector Olalekan Ogunyemi, has been ordered by a Magistrate Court at the Ebute-Meta area of Lagos, to have his remand extended till June 10.

Ogunyemi, who has already spent 30 days in Ikoyi Prison custody following his remand by the court on April 6, will now stay in custody for 35 more days, Daily Post reports.

The remand order was extended by Magistrate A.O. Salawu because the advice on the case which was expected this morning from the Office of the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), was not ready and the suspect was also not in court.
