Facebook Hacker arrested by EFCC
A Facebook hacker, Okohwan Kelvin has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt’s Zonal Office.
The suspect was arrested in Warri, Delta State after discreet monitoring of his online activities following complaints from members of the public, alleging that he hacked and took over their Facebook accounts.
Preliminary investigation by the EFCC revealed that he has hacked over one hundred Facebook accounts using phishing links generated from an online hacking website, and afterwards sold the accounts to other fraudsters who used them for various nefarious online activities.
Kelvin has also used some of the accounts to defraud friends of his victims. He would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
