Suspected thug poses, smirks as he’s paraded alongside his accomplices for Malicious Damage and Unlawful Possession of firearms in Ekiti

The Ekiti State police command on Monday, 14th of October, paraded some suspected hoodlums arrested for malicious damage and unlawful possession of firearms.

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Caleb Ikechukwu, who confirmed the arrest in a statement, said the hoodlums suspected to be Aderiye Adebayo A.K.A OJUIGO thugs, barricaded the roads at Oke-Iyinmi, Old garage, Post office, in Ijigbo area of Ado-Ekiti.

“Immediately the information was received, the operative of the Police Command responded to the scene of incident. On getting there, The hoodlums Had already blocked OKE-IYINMI post office, Old garage and Ijigbo Roads with logs of woods: burning tyres at the centre of the road” said Ikechukwu.

“On sighting the police, the hoodlums were Firing sporadically and shouting ‘we are for OJUIGO, Police no road for you’.

“Three suspects have been arrested with two cutlass and 5 empty shell of expended cartridges, one bottle, axe.

” The three Suspects are in our custody. as soon as investigations is concluded the will be charge to court.” he added.
