Iraq’s President Barham Saleh on Wednesday, January 8, denounced Iranian missile strikes which targeted air bases occupied by the US and other foreign troops in the country.

Saleh who expressed fear of “dangerous developments” in the region, rejected the repeated violation of its sovereignty and the transformation of Iraq into a battlefield for warring sides.

A statement released by his office read;

Recall LP reported that the United States Government confirmed that there was no American casualty in the missile airstrike launched in Tehran, Iran’s capital.
