Coronavirus: Actor, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson return to Los Angeles after 14 days quarantine in Australia

Hollywood actor, Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have returned to Los Angeles after spending two weeks in quarantine in Australia.

The couple, who appeared to have made full recovery were photographed in Los Angeles on Friday smiling in an SUV after flying home via private jet.

Tom and Rita confirmed on March 11 that they both tested positive for Coronavirus while filming a movie about Elvis Presley in Australia. He is playing Colonel Tom Parker, Presley’s manager, in the film directed by Baz Luhrmann. Production is currently suspended.

Tom recently shared an update on Twitter. He wrote, “Hey, folks. Two weeks after our first symptoms and we feel better.”

He continued, “Sheltering in place works like this: You don’t give it to anyone — You don’t get it from anyone. Common sense, no? Going to take a while, but if we take care of each other, help where we can, and give up some comforts… this, too, shall pass. We can figure this out.”
