#Coronavirus: 114 New COVID-19 Cases confirmed in Nigeria; total now exceeds 1000
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) have announced the confirmation of 114 new cases in Nigeria on Friday, 25th April 2020. The total cases discovered in the country has now surpassed 1000.
80 of the 114 new Coronavirus cases are from Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in the nation while 21 are from Gombe, 5 in FCT, 2 in Zamfara and Edo respectively and 1 in Ogun, Oyo, Kaduna and Sokoto respectively.
The country has discharged 208 COVID-19 patients while 32 people have died of the virus in the country.
