US President Donald J. Trump, took to his Twitter page on Sunday to wish people a happy Palm Sunday amidst the Coronavirus pandemic that is ravaging the United States with about 8,492 deaths as on Sunday.

Trump, a self-confessed Christian, whose native New York is the epicentre of the Coronavirus outbreak, tweeted;

”Palm Sunday is the beginning of a Holy week for many people of Faith and a great day to lift our voices in Prayer. I will be tuning into Pastor @greglaurie at @harvestorg Church in Riverside, California tomorrow at 11:00 A.M. Eastern.”

Some of his followers were not having it, with some blaming him for being the cause of the spread in the US and calling him ‘hypocritical’ while the Christian community praised him for standing up for Christians in America and keeping true to Christian values.
