Many feared dead as robbers attack bank and police station in Kogi state (Graphic Photos, Video)
Gunmen attack at a Bank branch in Isanlu town in Yagba East local government area of Kogi State and a police station in the town on Thursday, June 4, has left many dead.
Though details of the attack are still sketchy at the moment, it was however gathered that the robbers first stormed Isanlu Divisional Police Station where they killed those present. They thereafter proceeded to the bank where they are also killed more people.
Kogi state’s police spokesperson told Daily Trust;
“Attacks on a bank and police formation was reported by civilians but I can’t give you details because the DPO on ground cannot be reached yet but the Deputy Commissioner of Police is on his way to assess the situation.”
It was alleged that the robbers operated for more than 1 hour in the Kogi community. Here are tweets which captured the gory sight below;

For well over 2 hours today, at least 18 armed robbers laid siege to Isanlu in Yagba East LGA of Kogi State, killing many at the police station opposite the LG headquarters, including the DPO, as well as many civilians at First Bank – the only commercial bank in the town.
