Ne-Yo’s ex Monyetta Shaw is engaged, Crystal Smith reacts (Photo)

Ne-Yo ex and mother of his two eldest children, Monyetta Shaw has announced she is engaged.

In an Instagram post, Monyetta Shaw shared a picture of her hand on that of her man, showing off her engagement ring.

Crystal Smith, Ne-Yo’s wife congratulated Monyetta on her engagement, she wrote;

You betta!!!!!!!

After publicly declaring their nearly four-year marriage was over, singer Ne-Yo and Crystal Renay appear to be giving their union another shot. Now that they’ve reconciled, they’ve made it a priority to continue keeping their blended family intact, which includes Ne-Yo’s two children from his ex-fiance, Monyetta Shaw.

Ne-Yo and Shaw were in a longterm relationship before he broke things off and moved on with Renay. It was a hard breakup, but Shaw and Renay eventually became close friends and have worked diligently to blend their families.

Ne-Yo broke things off with Monyetta Shaw after saying he wasn’t ready for monogamy – then he married Crystal Renay.

Ne-Yo and Shaw were together for several years, almost from the start of his solo career taking off. Throughout the course of their relationship, they became engaged, lived together, and had two children.
