A British family found two migrants hiding in their car’s roof box after stopping at a petrol station, having just arrived in France.

Shocking video on social media shows the moment of discovery after they heard a noise when they pulled into a service station on the A29 in Normandy.

On opening the storage compartment the two young African men clamber out, one knocking a laptop onto the tarmac.

In a sweary rant one male member of the family lashes out at the men, as they are accused of stealing the contents of the box before stowing away.

“What the f***k are you doing? You f***king t**ts!” he says as he picks up the laptop, adding: “You’ve f***king broken this, you f***king c**t! F**king get out my sight!”

He goes on to say: “Have you nicked anything? Have you stolen anything? Where’s our stuff gone?”

A woman shouts: “All of our stuff’s gone!”

The man then orders the duo to empty their pockets, as the woman screams at them and one puts his hood up.

An older male member of the family remains silent during the ordeal, with a teenage boy shouting to the men “where’s our stuff?” as they walk off towards trees leading to the road.

“Everything! There’s nothing there!” shouts the woman.

As the family checks the car to see what may have been taken, the man says “all the wood’s gone”.

The camera operator, a young woman, begins hyperventilating and says: “My heart’s racing. I’ve recorded it all.”

The Brits have since filed a police complaint for theft, with the stowaways having allegedly thrown their belongings out to fit inside, according to France’s The Local.

The National Gendarmerie police force said the men are both aged 16 and from Eritrea and Guinea, and had targeted the car because of its British plates.

The family were, however, not heading back home over the border as they had only just arrived in France.
