Student Shares ‘Seasons Greetings’ Message His Landlord Sent To Him After ASUU Suspends Strike (Screenshot)

A young student known as Seyi has taken to Twitter to share a screenshot of the message he received from his landlord after ASUU called off its 9-month-old strike.

Recall that the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU), on Wednesday morning, called off its strike after reaching an agreement with the Federal Government.

ASUU National President, Biodun Ogunyemi made the announcement during a briefing of the union in Abuja.

However, not long after the announcement was made, it appears people are already in gear for the resumption of school-related activities.

A landlord who it seems had long been anticipating the resumption of normal schooling activities sent seasons greetings message to Seyi, a student-tenant.

Although he did not mention rent in the short message, the landlord greeted the young man and asked how he was doing.

Seyi shared a screenshot of the message and captioned it; ‘‘OMO”

In a now-deleted tweet, he disclosed that he had not spoken or chatted with the landlord since ASUU embarked on strike in March 2020.
