Monkey Arrested For Attacking 13 Year Old Girl In Nigeria – Photos

A girl in Nigeria named Chekwube Osita Dinma was rushed to hospital after a wild baboon (monkey) escaped from her cage in Agu-Awka, Anambra state, and inflicted injuries, according to a report by Instablog9ja.

The website revealed that the baboon owned by one Ms Flora Ilonzo from Agu-Awka escaped from the cage and inflicted injuries on Dinma, who lives with her parents in the same compound as Ms Ilonzo.

State police command spokesman Haruna Mohammed said the baboon was captured and taken to a more secure cage.

He said the owner of Baboon’s statement was taken under precaution and was granted bail for self-recognition. The police spokesman added that a statement was also taken from the victim’s father.
