“I’m heartbroken at the unfulfilled life we planned together” – Rapper, AKA finally speaks on the tragic death of his fiancee, Nelli Tembe
South African rapper, Keirnan Forbes professionally known as AKA, has released an official statement following the tragic and sudden death of his fiancee, Nelli Tembe.
Recall that the 22-year-old died in the early hours of Sunday, April 11, 2021, after she fell from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town. However, it is still unclear if it was suicide or murder.
The bereaved singer, who has stayed away from social media since the news of her death broke on the internet, took to his IG page to address his fans, sympathizers and the general public.
He said her death has taken a huge toll on him emotionally and psychologically, and he is heartbroken at the unfulfilled life they had planned together.
He added that he needs people to respect his privacy while he grieves, and he has entrusted all his public affairs to his management team.
