Nigerian actor, Uti Nwachukwu has taken to Twitter to question why a couple will decide to divorce when they are already in their 60s or 70s.
This comes after the Billionaire couple, Bill (65) and Melinda Gates (56), announced that they are getting a divorce on Monday night, May 3. The news came as a shock to people around the world and some netizens took to social media to share their opinion.
Speaking in an apparent reaction to their divorce, Uti wondered if people are truly happy in their marriages or if it is just a scam.
He tweeted,
“What’s the point of getting divorced in ur 60s/70s… I just don’t get it!! At that age what could possibly be the problem that cannot be resolved?
This marriage thing no be scam so? How many are truly happily married
