“I miss you” – Funke Akindele mourns Ibidun Ighodalo

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has taken to social media to mourn late ex-beauty queen Ibidun Ajayi-Ighodalo.

Taking to her Instagram page, Funke Akindele said she missed Ibidun and prayed that she would continue to rest in peace.

Funke Akindele also prayed for late Ibidun’s husband, pastor Ituah, that his day would be longer than his wife’s. She wrote;

Keep resting in peace Ibidun! I miss you. Ki oluwa je ki Odun o jina sira. Amin

The founder of The Trinity Church, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, held a memorial service in honour of his late wife Ibidun, at the church premise in Lagos.

Ibidun, who is also the chief executive officer of Elizabeth R, a leading public relations and events management company, died of cardiac arrest in the early hours of Sunday, 14th June 2020, Harcourt.

The memorial service has friends and family members in attendance, including the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his deputy Femi Hamzat.

Many Nigerian celebrities and families she influenced in her lifetime, took to their various platforms to pay tributes to the late Ibidun, who was considered the mother of many.

Ibidun was reported to have assisted many families having fertility issues with funds to undergo IVF.
