Meghan Markle’s brother to participate in Big Brother Australia with Caitlyn Jenner and others in fresh embarrassment for Duchess

Meghan Markle’s estranged half-brother is to participate in the Australian version of Big Brother and there are fears he will reveal things about his sister, the Duchess of Sussex, on the show.

Thomas Markle Jr arrived at Sydney airport on Thursday, July 22, and is now in a quarantined hotel, where he will stay for 14 days before taking part in Big Brother VIP.

Thomas Markle Jr. will join other contestants including Caitlyn Jenner.

Thomas Jr, 55, is the half-brother of Meghan, 39, with the pair sharing the same father, Thomas.

Like most of his family members, Thomas Jr is estranged from Meghan. Ahead of Meghan’s wedding to Harry, Thomas Jr begged Prince Harry to call off the ceremony as Meghan “is obviously not the right woman for you.”

He also complained about not receiving an invitation to Meghan’s wedding, saying at the time: “I’m not bitter, just baffled. It’s hurtful given how close we once were.”

“I’m confused and a little distraught because here is a person knowing the position she’s in and knowing the scrutiny she’s under and yet she has forgotten her flesh and blood,” he added.

There are concerns that Thomas Markle Jr will make more critical comments about his half-sister, Meghan, while on the show.

Known names are expected to make up the cast of Big Brother VIP.

Caitlyn Jenner is believed to be one of the stars to participate in the reality show.

Briton Katie Hopkins was expected to star in the show but she was deported for threatening to break quarantine rules and Australia’s health minister, Greg Hunt, told her to watch “Big Brother from a long, long way away.”
