‘Mentally challenged’ man allegedly stabs pedestrian for refusing to give him money in Port Harcourt (Photos)
A mentally challenged man has been beaten to a pulp by an angry mob after he allegedly stabbed a pedestrian who refused to give him money.
According to viral reports, the mentally challenged man attacked a yet-to-be-identified pedestrian in his 20’s who passed by him and refused to tip him when he asked.
Eyewitnesses alleged that the mentally challenged man approached the young boy for money to buy food but was turned down.
Piqued by the young man’s refusal to give him money, the lunatic who is quite popular in the area stabbed the passerby with a knife on Wednesday morning, July 7th at the Choba axis of the East/West Road, Port Harcourt.
The victim who immediately passed out was rushed to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital where he was resuscitated.
Triggered by his action traders and motorists attacked the mentally challenged man and beat him to a pulp.
