“There’s no room for laziness and unfruitfulness” - COZA pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo backs Bishop Oyedepo who sacked 40 ‘unfruitful’ pastors

Biodun Fatoyinbo, the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), has come out to defend Bishop David Oyedepo who recently sacked 40 pastors for generating low income in their branches.

It can be recalled that Bishop Oyedepo said the pastors were fired for being “unfruitful and blatant failures”, which sparked outrage on social media.

Reacting to this, Fatoyinbo has declared support for the famous clergyman. According to him, there is no room for laziness and unfruitfulness.

He also questioned if a banker who was fired for not meeting his target would come on social media to rant about being sacked.

He wrote,

Question! “ if you were fired in the Bank for not meeting up with your deliverables will you go on social media? Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
