#BBNaija 2021: Pere breaks Big Brother Naija Nominations Record with 10 Nominations

Big Brother Naija season 6: Shine Ya Eye housemate, Pere has broken the reality TV show record of the number of nominations in a single day after he received 10 nominations out of a possible 19.

The housemates of the Big Brother House were called into the Diary Room one after the other yesterday to nominate two housemates they want to be up for possible eviction this week. There was a total of 40 nominations with Pere getting the highest with 10 nominations followed by Peace and Queen who had 5 each.

Pere nominations are not coming as a surprise because during the housemates’ Secret Diary Session on Saturday where the housemates were asked which housemate do they want to be evicted from the show by the then Head of House, Maria, Pere was nominated 9 times by his fellow housemates. It was later revealed that those nominations were just a prank by Big Brother.

Pere was introduced into the BBNaija house as a wild card and soon after he became the Head of House. His reign as the HOH stirred controversy online after he pulled some military stunt on the show. Some viewers revered his persona on the show claiming that he is real and he is giving content that has never been seen on the show before while others detest it asserting that he is proud and condescending.

Pere’s fate in the house now lies in the hand of the viewers who are to vote for who they want to remain in the house. Pere is up with Maria, Cross, JMK, Sammie and Queen with at least one of them going home during the Sunday Night Live Eviction Show.
