Edo vigilante group nab two ‘police officers’ allegedly selling ‘loud’ (Video)

An Edo vigilante group have nabbed two self-acclaimed police officers while they were allegedly selling weed, locally known as “loud”, in the state.

A video that captures the moment they were accosted is currently making rounds on social media. The men who claimed to be police officers were seen in handcuffs while officials of the vigilante group searched their belongings.

The officials found weed and some items said to be used in their illicit business in a bag and their car. The police officers, however, pleaded with those who caught them to treat them gently because they don’t rough-handle criminals at their police station.

In other news, a 38-year-old Nigerian man, Salau Abdulmalik Femi has been arrested after he allegedly hacked into the server of a bank to steal N1.87 billion.

Femi who was arrested by detectives from the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) is said to be the kingpin of a syndicate that specializes in hacking into the servers of banks and corporate agencies.

He was arrested after he allegedly hacked the Flex-Cube Universal Banking System (FCUBS) of a first-generation bank.
