#BBNaija 2021: “That Tega in BBN is not from Delta State. Our married women and our wives don’t behave like that” – Delta state gov’s aide
Ossai Ovie Success, the Special Assistant on Special Duties to the Delta State governor, Sen Ifeanyi Okowa, has asked netizens to stop associating BBNaija season 6 housemate, Tega, with Delta state because she is not from the state.
This comes after she was dragged to filth for making out with her fellow housemate, Boma, on national TV despite being married with a child. Social media users lambasted her for not honouring the institution of marriage and publicly disrespecting her husband.
Some netizens also associated her behaviour with that of Delta women because of her name, however, Ossai has pointed out that she is not from Delta state but from Cross River state. According to him, married women from Delta state do not behave in that manner.
In a statement he released on his Facebook page, he wrote,
“That Tega in #BBN is not from Delta State Please.
Our married women and our wives don’t behave like that.
With all due respect , She is proudly from another state in Nigeria.
In case you don’t know she said she is from Cross Rivers State
Because she is answering a name that is similar to Delta names doesn’t mean she is from Delta State.
Take note before you start attaching her behavior to Delta People and please stop calling my name regarding her behavior in the house”
