Actress, Toyin Abraham shares bags of pepper as souvenirs at Iyabo Ojo’s mum’s Final Burial Party (Video)

Popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo threw a grand final burial party for her late mum, Victoria Olubumi Fetuga over the weekend.

The grand celebration which was to mark Iyabo Ojo’s late mother’s first-year death remembrance was star-studded. Top Nollywood actors and actresses, socialites, singers, internet celebrities were present at the event.

However, the actress’ colleague, Toyin Abraham caught the attention of people at the event with the souvenirs that she gave out to guests.

Rather than the common non-perishable gift items, Toyin Abraham shared bags of pepper. The fresh peppers were neatly packed in bags customized with a photo of Iyabo’s late mother.

This is coming after plantains were handed to the guests as souvenirs at a party that held recently in a state in Southwest Nigeria.

While the Yoruba’s have been dubbed the king of parties, and known to go all out for their celebrations no matter how small, the party that held recently in a state in Southwest Nigeria got people talking.

It’s not new that souvenirs are a part of a Yoruba party; celebrants gift their guests all kinds of gifts, ranging from plastic bowls, Jotters, Umbrellas, soap, matches, and in recent times, power banks, boxes, phones have joined the list of items being shared at parties.

However, in the party that has got people talking unripe plantains were handed to guests as souvenirs, which is quite different from the gifts people are used to.
