Two years after leaving his N300k paying job to earn a better living in Canada, distressed man plans return; stirs Samklef’s reaction
A Nigerian man identified with the Twitter handle @Tweetoracle stirred up reactions on the micro-blogging platform after he shared a story of his friend who is planning to return back to Nigeria barely two years he resigned from a N350,000 monthly paid job to relocate to Canada for a better living.
Narrating the story, the man wrote, “I have a friend who was earning N350K in his job here in Nigeria and he left it all to journey abroad.
“Two yrs on, he keeps complaining with bitterness what a mistake that has been and how not easy life is abroad. He is planning to come back this year for good. Have a plan!”
In a swift reaction, Samklef Noni, a popular Nigerian music producer described the said man as a ‘lazy’ person.
Samklef wrote, “Ur friend is lazy. Lol.. job discrimination is the reason why a lot of people will remain poor. Common health care workers makes nothing less than $3k to $4K a month I have friends in it that makes $100k a month. He should go back.”
