Tega Dominic mocked after clarifying claims of shading a certain ‘ship’

Reality TV star, Tega Dominic is of the opinion that most men who gush over their women on social media mistreat them at home.

The mother of one took to her Instastory to share this opinion today, April 25.

According to her, most men who serenade their women and say sweet things about them online only do that on social media and don’t show the same affections in reality.

Putting a number to the amount of men who abuse their wives at home despite publicly praising them, the former Big Brother Naija claimed 70% of married men are culprits.

She wrote,

“Don’t be fooled by the captions when you see them serenade their women, 70% of them literally abuses them, the PDA no dey reach house.

This has stirred mixed reactions on social media as netizens share their thoughts about her claim.

Actor, Junior pope wrote, “My own overreach house oooooo, swagnation close your ears to social media advisers……. Stop the negative narrative and remember As you make your bed.”

IG user, @tenovertenautos, criticized Tega for sharing this assertion shortly after singer, Adekunle Gold, surprised his wife, Simi, at a live show with a cake. According to the IG user, her post seems like a direct attack at the celebrity couple.

“Barely 24hrs after we got to see a lovely and romantic gesture from a couple in a union that’s working fine (Simi and AG) You wake up with this ideology of yours. For what reasons actually? It’s always those with failed relationships and marriages that’ll take every opportunity to ruin every happy moment from couples whose union is probably working,” he wrote.

@daizee7 wrote, “If you don’t share a roof with them take what is displayed outside. Stop making unfounded assumptions. Marriage is still a wonderful thing but if one is abused in any way come out.”
