“If you can throw a party for gaining one million followers, what will happen if you get verified?” – OAP, Dotun asks

Nigerian media personality, Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode popularly known as Dotun, has posed a question at influencer, Papaya Ex, who recently threw a grand party to celebrate hitting one million followers on Instagram.

Over the weekend, Papaya Ex, real name Abike, trended on social media after going all out to throw an elaborate party to celebrate the milestone and it turned into a carnival-like event.

She splurged 5 million naira on a castle-like cake and also gave out a brand new car and 10 iPhones to some of her lucky fans to appreciate them for their support and loyalty.

Reacting to the never-before-seen event, Dotun asked the brand-influencer who is yet to be verified on Instagram what she would do to celebrate when she eventually gets verified.

“If you can throw a party for gaining one million followers, what will happen if you get verified?” he tweeted.

At the said event, passionate fans screamed their lungs out, those who could not scream shed hot tears, and those who could not cry took to their knees to pray to whatever god they served to answer their wish to become the lucky winner of the car or iPhone.
