“My father has been held hostage by kidnappers for over 2 weeks” – Actor Uche Odoputa cries out
Nollywood actor, Uche Odoputa, has pleaded with well-meaning Nigerians to pray for the safe return of his father, who has been kidnapped for two weeks.
The thespian took to his Instagram page on Monday, May 16 to raise an alarm over his father’s abduction.
Sharing a photo of himself and his dad, the actor wrote,
“Friends please join me in praying for my father safe return from the hands of kidnappers that took him for over 2weeks now Mr Kenneth odoputa.”
In other news, a fatal explosion has occurred at a primary school on Aba Road, Sabon Gari area of Kano State and many children are feared injured and even worse, dead.
According to some videos that have been shared on micro-blogging website, Twitter, it happened in the early hours of Tuesday, May 17th 2022.
It was later confirmed by the police that the explosion was caused by a leak from a Gas Cylinder.
An eyewitness Collins Ezeanah wrote on Twitter,
“I stay in Sabon Gari Kano . The explosion shook our house . Happened in Winners primary school . Aba Road . Students died. This country won’t be the end of us . We didn’t commit any crime being Nigerians . May their soul rest in perfect peace . Amen !
Students 4 – 5 years old A student of the school lives in my compound , chimobi came back filled with sand & tears . Man crawled his way out of the collapsed building. He was looking for his classmates nowhere to be found”.
