Sad: Couple reportedly killed by unknown gunmen on their way to their wedding in Imo state (Audio)

A Nigerian couple was slain on their way to their wedding in Imo state, turning what was supposed to be a joyous day into a tragic one.

According to viral reports, the couple, both military personnel, were attacked by unknown gunmen on the way to the venue for their wedding.

It was gathered that the groom, a warrant officer was compulsorily retired ahead of his wedding to the female junior officer.

A military source disclosed that the couple were beheaded and their private parts mutilated.

However, a man confessed to killing the soldiers and two others in a viral phone conversation. He claimed the soldiers had been killing innocent people and he had “eaten these ones” in revenge.

In other news, Mbionu Chioma Chikaodili, a 300 level Medical Rehabilitation student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, College of Health Science, Okofia, Nnewi, Anambra, was killed after being hit by a stray bullet.

Details of the incident that led to her death are still foggy but it was gathered that the 300 level Medical Rehabilitation student was hit by a stray bullet fired by gunmen during an attack on security facilities in Nnewi on Sunday, October 3rd.

A source revealed that she was reportedly rushed to the University Teaching Hospital Nnewi but was allegedly not attended to as doctors are on strike. She subsequently bled to death at the gate.

The source said,

“She was rushed to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital and there was no doctor or medical personnel on the ground to treat her. She d*ed at the gate. We were told that the doctors were on strike. It is well with Nigeria.”
