Suspected fish thief served plate of food after serious beating in Bayelsa (Video)

A viral video has shown the moment a suspected fish thief was served a plate of food after he was seriously dealt with.

The suspect was nabbed by men of the Kingdom Grace Vigilante group at Oxbow Lake in the Swali area of Yenagoa, Bayelsa state, in the early hours of Thursday, May 5.

The man confessed to stealing fish from a pond, according to a Facebook user who shared the footage showing the suspect devouring the food after being beaten by the vigilantes.

A while ago a cable thief was given a similar treatment in Agorogbene community, Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The suspect identified as Preye Ayase and his accomplice, Ringo Tareladei, caught vandalising electric cables connecting Ogobiri and Agorogbene communities in Sagbama on Wednesday, April 20.

A Facebook user, Jonah Goodluck Dimie, shared the photos and wrote;

Whahala no they Finnish ooh, this one come shock me. Why my community nepa light electrification cables, this very two criminal’s named Mr preye Ayase and one Mr Ringo tareladei all from amasoma community silga, was caught red-handed by my self and the active vigilanty and the youths of Agorogbene community, at the early hours of today been the 20th of April 2022 Agorogbene/Ogobiri road, in the process of vandalising nepa light electrification cables.
