“Baba wan trend and make bar” – Daddy Freeze tackles Nathaniel Bassey over ‘Jesus’ Challenge
Media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, better known as Daddy Freeze has tackled the popular gospel artist, Nathaniel Bassey over the recently introduced ‘Jesus’ challenge.
The singer had taken to his Twitter handle to urge Nigerians to share an image that had the name of Jesus boldly inscribed on it as a way of releasing the power of Christ on the country.
As directed, Nigerians began posting the photo on various social media platforms which triggered reactions from netizens who weren’t aware of the challenge.
According to him, rather than the singer encouraging people to get their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), he’s initiating a religious trend that wouldn’t bring peace to the country.
In his words:
“I am addressing this in a live video in 1hr.
Jesus no be bullet proof o, Holy Spirit no be odieshi.
Stephen was filled with the Holy Spirit in acts 7:55 and dem still ST0NE am and the ST0NE enter.
Baba wan start another challenge to trend and possibly make bar.
Instead of telling people to go and get their pvc na to put Jesus pic for DP. 🤣🤣 Who did this to us? 🙄Nigeria is living proof that Jesus can’t bring peace; it’s been 60 years doing the same thing with no results bro, come on.🙄”
