Election 2023: Massive jubilation among elderly men, market women in Lagos over Tinubu’s Victory stirs youths’ reactions (Video)

A video showing the moment a group of elderly men and market women reacted in jubilation to the news of Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s victory in the All Progressives Congress’ presidential primaries has caused worry among some Nigerian youths.

“We are in big trouble like this,” “This market men and women people love suffering,” “Please go and warn your parent’s because they are the ones that are always voting in these bad leaders,” some of the reactions from Nigerian youths, supposedly against Tinubu’s candidacy reads.

The video’s virality follows Tinubu’s announcement as APC’s candidate for the forthcoming presidential elections.

Tinubu, who had before balloting gotten the endorsement of six aspirants, floored the likes of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former transportation minister, Rotimi Amaechi among others during the party’s primary elections.

Aspirants who stepped down for the former Lagos State governor were Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; Senator Godswill Akpabio; Professor Ajayi Borroffice; Mr Dimeji Bankole; Senator Ibikunle Amosun; and Mrs Uju Ohanenye.
