Election 2023: Tinubu floors VP Osinbajo, Amaechi, others to win APC Presidential Primary

Former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has won the All Progressives Congress, APC, 2023 presidential ticket.

Tinubu, who had before balloting gotten the endorsement of six aspirants, floored the likes of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former transportation minister, Rotimi Amaechi among others during the party’s primary elections.

Aspirants who stepped down for the former Lagos State governor were Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; Senator Godswill Akpabio; Professor Ajayi Borroffice; Mr Dimeji Bankole; Senator Ibikunle Amosun; and Mrs Uju Ohanenye.

Total Number of Delegate Votes for each aspirant,

Bola Tinubu = 1271

Rotimi Amaechi = 316

Yemi Osinbajo = 235
