“I founded the popular deadly cult groups, One million boys and Ajah boys” - Portable says in new video

The Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, has ordered the investigation of controversial singer Portable over claims that he founded two deadly cult groups terrorizing Lagos.

The Zazu Zeh star had in a video he shared online claimed that he’s the originator of the two notorious groups in Lagos, One million boys, and Ajah boys.”

The groups have caused unrest in many parts of Lagos and Ogun states. They are notorious for their violent activities, including murders, abductions, and robberies.

In a recent development, the Police Spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement on Monday, said the IGP had ordered the Lagos police commissioner to investigate Portable’s claim.

The statement read,

“Sequel to the trending video of one Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable where he claimed to have formed the One Million Boys cult group terrorising some parts of Lagos State, the IGP has ordered CP Lagos to investigate the indicting statement and take necessary legal action.

“This directive is premised on the continuous effort of the Nigeria Police Force to fish out pillars and sponsors of cult groups in order to decimate their activities and restore sanity to our society.”

In other news, a young man, identified as Ofonime Okokon, has allegedly been poisoned to death by his friends in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital.

Ofonime, who was a promising barber and known by the nickname Estro De Barbguy, was said to have been hale and hearty and attended to customers before he allegedly started vomiting blood and passed away shortly on Friday, July 15.

His remains have been laid to rest amid tears in Akwa Ibom state on Saturday, July 16.
