Dubai-based Nigerians call on the government for help following mass deportation in Dubai (Video)

Some Nigerian citizens based in Dubai have called on the Nigerian government for help after they were deported from the United Arab Emirates.

Several videos showing those affected by the mass deportation exercise and their luggage are currently making rounds on the internet.

A Nigerian lady, who spoke in one of the videos, expressed her displeasure with the Nigerian embassy in Dubai for failing to represent Nigerian citizens in the process.

She then asked if there was a functional embassy or active ambassador in the country because they are yet to see anyone.

She further revealed that some deported Nigerians who had valid international passports were granted a pass by Dubai authorities and are waiting for aeroplanes to bring them back to Nigeria.
