21-year-old man arrested for allegedly stealing his boss’ car, phones to fund his relocation Abroad (Photos)

A 21-year-old Nigerian man, identified as Temple Samuel, has been arrested for allegedly stealing his boss’ car in Lagos.

The suspect was arrested by operatives of the Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in the Ogba area of Lagos State, along with his three accomplices, Benjamin Bassey (32), Chukwuemeka Okorie (29) and Joshua Agboche (37).

Following the investigation, it was discovered that the suspect who works in a car wash at Egbeda stole his boss’ Lexus ES 330 car in the middle of the night and carted away his iPhone X and iPhone 13 as well.

He also fraudulently transferred N75,000 from his boss’ account to his personal account.

Upon interrogation, the suspect said he planned to use the money he makes from selling the items to process his relocation abroad.

The state Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, has directed that the case be transferred to the State CID, Panti, for further investigations and prosecution.
