Manchester United got humiliated at Etihad stadium during a Manchester derby with arch-rivals Manchester City.

Phil Foden opened the 6-3 scoresheet for Manchester City with a goal in the 8th minute, firing with a no-look shot into the top corner to round off a sweeping City move.

Erling Haaland continued the party in the 34th minute with a header and then added a second by latching on to Kevin de Bruyne’s inch-perfect pass.

This only served to wake City back up as Haaland and Foden sealed their trebles within minutes.

It was also the third time in Premier League history in which two players have scored hat-tricks in the same game.

Haaland’s third consecutive hat-trick in home league games also made him the first player in the Premier League era to achieve such an astonishing feat.

Anthony Martial added another consolation five minutes from time, and then another from the penalty spot in the final minute.

Martial’s goals were however not enough to stop the red devils from bleeding red.
