“Na why Buhari no get our time” – Reactions trail dog carnival in Port Harcourt (Video)
An annual carnival in Port Harcourt stirs reactions as hundreds of youths took to the streets to showcase their dogs.
A video making rounds on social media captured a dog work session said to be common in the capital and largest city in Rivers State.
Youths trooped out in numbers with different breeds of dogs while blasting music from both ends.
The said carnival, however, stunned many from other regions of the country by surprise as the tradition seemed alien.
Reacting to the viral video, some social media users applauded the culture while others blatantly term it unnecessary.
“Some people no dey watch pass African magic….overseas there are lots of dog shows and more, besides the breeds most of them are holding are imported, so it’s nice to take a walk,” a social media user wrote.
Another user added, “After una go dey blame Buhari if he insult us😂😂😂 e no Dey pass Mainland people 😂😂.”
