“He wants to use Davido to stay relevant because his fame has dimmed” – Mr Jollof slams Wizkid over planned tour (Video)
Nigerian comedian and event compere, Mr Jollof has heavily criticized popular singer, Wizkid’s planned tour with his colleague, Davido.
Recall that the ‘Made in Lagos’ star, in a post shared via his Instastory on Wednesday, January 18, announced that he will be going on tour with the DMW boss.
According to Wizkid, at the end of his More Love, Less Ego tour scheduled to kick off in March 2023, he and Davido will be going on tour.
His announcement was met with mixed reactions from fans of the singers due to the age-long beef and disharmony between them.
Reacting to the news, Mr Jollof, speaking in a video posted on his Instagram page, slammed Wizkid for deciding to go on tour with Davido at a time when his career is allegedly struggling.
He accused Wizkid of trying to take advantage of Davido because the spotlight is currently on him. It’s no news that many are anticipating the singer’s full comeback following his long hiatus due to the death of his son, Ifeanyi.
Mr Jollof further opined that Wizkid wants to perch on Davido’s wings to fly, and wondered if he was expecting a standing ovation from netizens for the planned tour, despite his beef with Davido.
