Nigerian man angrily unfollows Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy for keeping mute about the election (Video)
As Nigerians are set to decide the next President with many, including celebrities, publicly declaring support for their preferred candidates, a Nigeran man has lampooned top singers, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, for keeping mute about the election.
In a video making rounds online, the man berated the three biggest Afrobeats singers in Nigeria for failing to speak up and sensitize their followers about the general elections held today, February 25.
According to him, their apathy towards the election shows that they don’t care about Nigeria and the well-being of its citizens.
He went on to mention some of the economic crises, and political and insecurity issues that have plagued the country in recent times and wondered why they would choose to remain silent about an important event.
He argued that even if they didn’t publicly endorse a particular candidate, they should have still urged their followers to vote wisely in the election.
The man, who was utterly disappointed by their lackadaisical attitude, then unfollowed all three singers on Instagram.
