Forbes releases 2019 list of Africa’s Richest Billionaires
Forbes magazine has released the 2018 list of the richest man in Africa, with Nigerian business magnate Alhaji Aliko Dangote retaining the number one spot for the 7th year in a row with $12.2 billion dollars.
The rating magazine reports that Folorunsho Alakija’s net worth dropped due to a decline in the value of one of Nigeria’s most productive oil fields.
Mike Adenuga, the owner of Globacom, emerged Africa’s 5th richest man. He is worth an estimated $9.2 billion.
