David ‘Davido’ Adeleke is no doubt one of the forces to reckon with in the entertainment industry. He had a wonderful 2018 and he has revealed his plans for the new year in a recent interview.
The DMW boss has had some negative publicity in recent times and many have wondered how he handles media pressure.
In a chat on For The Record with DJ Abass, the father of two explained that he is not bothered about what blogs have to say about him because he is bigger.
He said: “I don’t care about media pressure. I’m bigger. I have 9.1 million followers, any blog wey write any nonsense I go post my own back. Me sef I be blog.”
Speaking further on negative publicity, a fan wanted to know what Davido is doing to manage controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, who has been known to discuss his family matters in the public eye.
In response to that, he said: “I don’t know her.”
Since Davido became a known figure, he has not failed to impress fans with several hit songs. However, fans have been anticipating his album seeing as he did not drop any album in 2018.
In response to that, the Nwa Baby crooner explained that he has been consistently dropping material but he has not yet compiled them in an album.
He further revealed that his fans should expect an album this year.
“This year I want to compile a couple of songs and drop an album.”
